- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and support to customers, including responding to emergency and non-scheduled calls for service, and communicating effectively with customers to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical support staff, to resolve complex technical issues and provide training and support to new or cross-training employees.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Technical Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest technical knowledge and advancements in the field, including new products, technologies, and methodologies.
- Meet Business Objectives: Meet business objectives, including responding to emergency and non-scheduled calls for service, completing all scheduled maintenance within required deadlines, and submitting paperwork in a timely manner.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience (minimum 8 years of experience in a related field service role).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of advanced electrical and electronic systems and equipment, including medical products, industrial process controls, avionics, and communications systems.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, technical support staff, and cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex technical issues.
- Physical and Mental Demands: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy equipment and materials, and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
