About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Consultant to join our team at SimCorp. As a Senior Business Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our cloud-based Regulatory Reporting Platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain configuration solutions based on SimCorp Dimension for financial institutions and Asset Managers across the globe.
  • Support maintenance and enhancement of SimCorp's Regulatory Reporting Platform in close collaboration with its Manager.
Requirements
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance or other relevant degree.
  • Experience in or knowledge of EMIR (European Market Infrastructure Regulation) or its equivalents in Asia, such as MAS, HKMA or ASIC in Australia.
  • Experience and knowledge of MiFIR and SFTR regulations.
  • Interest in analysis, design and implementation of regulatory requirements in a software system.
  • Experience in Investment management software (SimCorp Dimension or similar is highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of derivatives, particularly OTC and ETD.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret regulatory texts (legal ordinances, law texts, guidelines, implementing technical standards...).
  • Interest and basic knowledge in cloud technologies like scripting languages, XML and APIs.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a consultancy role/firm or IT department of a financial firm.
  • Service-oriented.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and the technical implementation.
  • Experience working in a globally distributed organization.
  • Ability to act proactively within frequent customer interactions.
  • Professional and great communication and presentation skills.
  • Enjoy coaching and transferring knowledge proactively.
  • Fluent in English.
Desirable Skills
  • CFA level 1-3.
  • SQL, XML, Excel (expert level).
  • Fluency in German is a benefit.
