Job Overview

The Manufacturing Engineering Team is responsible for leading process improvements and ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing facilities. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and controlling electromechanical equipment installations
  • Providing recommendations for equipment upgrades to improve performance or reduce costs
  • Performing repairs on electromechanical equipment as needed
  • Developing and implementing effective maintenance programs for equipment and components
  • Maintaining records of equipment and maintenance activities
  • Utilizing manual, electrical, and pneumatic tools to perform repairs or maintenance
  • Installing new equipment as needed and verifying its functionality
  • Ensuring quality control of new and installed equipment
  • Collaborating with the engineering team on repair projects
  • Communicating with external suppliers for repair parts
  • Working in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Designing and developing mechanical components and equipment
  • Selecting materials and components for mechanical designs
  • Creating plans and drawings for mechanical designs
  • Calculating dimensions and characteristics of mechanical designs

This role requires a strong background in electromechanical engineering, with experience in PLC, HMI, and vision systems. You should be able to read and understand technical drawings and diagrams, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Travel requirements are less than 10% of the time, and the location is Hermosillo, Mexico.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Experience with PLC, HMI, and vision systems
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and diagrams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Intermediate-level technical English skills
