Manufacturing Improvement Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Continuous Improvement efforts in our manufacturing plant in México. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive productivity, quality, and efficiency across the site.

About the Role:
- Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement throughout the site by identifying opportunities for improvement and developing solutions to address them.
- Collaborate with area leaders to establish and achieve business objectives, ensuring alignment with company-wide goals.
- Develop and implement training programs to build Problem-Solving competencies among site employees, focusing on scientific method and coaching techniques.
- Lead the administration of the Improving Innovating Program, from design to implementation, ensuring seamless integration with all areas of the process.
- Improve plant capacity and productivity through strategic improvement projects, educating employees on LEAN tools and methodologies.
- Foster a results-driven environment by implementing and monitoring TIER processes, coordinating site strategy development, and aligning objectives with Manufacturing and Commercial departments.
- Comprehensively manage the identification of opportunities, projects, and initiatives across the site, aiming to meet WHO division objectives and achieve world-class supply chain performance.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement roles.
- Expertise in Continuous Improvement Methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Hoshin Kanri, and KATA.
- Experience in portfolio management and/or project management.
- Knowledge of manufacturing plant cost structures.
- Administration skills for problem escalation systems and direction/visual management.
- Desirable: Experience in the pharmaceutical field, particularly in Packaging and Laboratory processes; intermediate knowledge of PowerBI, Automate, and Power-apps; Business Conversational English.
- Effective communication, leadership, self-directed work style, focus on results, high ethical standards, Quality, and Compliance awareness.

Compensation:
The annualized salary range for this position is approximately $120,000 - $180,000, depending on location and qualifications. Relocation assistance is not available. Travel requirements may include meeting vaccination prerequisites. Flexible work arrangements, shift flexibility, and valid driving licenses are also required. This is a regular employee position with no hazardous material handling involved. There is currently one opening available.
