We are seeking a skilled Tooling and Equipment Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects in Puebla.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop tools and machine specifications according to internal standards and program requirements.
- Review and approve tool and machine designs, including managing changes requested to suppliers.
- Approve tools and machines at supplier facilities, including conducting buy-offs to approve shipment.
- Ensure tools and machines meet program objectives after Manufacturing Process Trials (MPT).
Technologies and Skills:
Set up process parameters for premium wrapping.
- Define patterns in leather, fabric, and vinyl.
- Perform various sewing techniques.
- Prefix and align sewing operations.
- Fix materials with or without edgefolding and presses.
- Operate cooling stations.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced level of English proficiency.
- Experience with transfers and plastic knowledge is preferred.
