Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team in Mexico, working remotely. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies.

About the Role:

  • Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot Microservices
  • Design and implement GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and manipulation
  • Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB
  • Ensure secure user authentication and authorization using OAuth, JWT, and session management
  • Write unit test cases using JUnit and Mockito for robust testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI
  • Gain experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes for scalability and consistency
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing, Java, and related technologies
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 4+ years of experience as a software developer with a strong background in Java
  • Excellent knowledge of Spring Framework, GraphQL APIs, and relational databases
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration concepts
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
