About the Role

At JumpCloud, we're seeking an experienced Outbound Marketing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our revenue marketing organization, you'll play a critical role in driving pipeline growth through strategic outbound marketing initiatives.

As an Outbound Marketing Manager, you'll work closely with our BDR organization to develop and execute campaigns that resonate with our target audience. Your expertise in marketing, product marketing, demand generation, or sales enablement will be essential in crafting compelling email outreach sequences, developing outbound prospecting playbooks, and measuring campaign performance.

You'll be responsible for understanding our ideal customer profile (ICP) and personas, identifying key audiences to fuel our account list development, and collaborating with our global team of BDRs to drive meaningful outbound pipeline growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute outbound marketing programs to reach potential customers using outbound motions, including prospecting within the database and acquiring net new accounts.
  • Work with product marketing and operations to identify key audiences and develop compelling email cadences for BDRs.
  • Develop outbound prospecting playbooks and best practices in partnership with BDRs and sales enablement.
  • Collaborate with marketing operations to build reporting and monitoring performance, including activity metrics, conversion rate data, and volume of pipeline generated.
  • Build a consistent feedback loop and continuously improve and optimize campaign performance.
  • Partner internally with marketing to ensure quarterly campaign plans align with pipeline targets.
  • Monitor conversion rates and optimize campaigns at each stage of the funnel.
  • Execute A/B tests, collect and analyze data, and continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Partner with marketing operations and sales operations to identify and drive forward technology/tools roadmap.
  • Regularly report out on the performance of customer acquisition efforts.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of marketing, product marketing, demand generation, or sales enablement experience.
  • Experience running outbound marketing campaigns end-to-end, from concept to launch to follow-up and reporting.
  • Experience partnering with BDRs to coordinate, communicate, and deliver offers and campaigns that resonate deeply with customers.
  • Hands-on experience with funnel and pipeline reporting.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for trying new things and a strong drive towards solution-oriented problem-solving.
  • Exposure to tools like Outreach, GongEngage, SalesLoft.
  • Bonus: Hands-on experience with Salesforce and marketing automation tools like Marketo, Pardot, or Hubspot.
  • Bonus: Experience marketing to an IT audience.
