Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Design Specialist to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As an Engineering Design Specialist, you will be responsible for generating CAD concepts using Catia/3DX/TC/TcVis, verifying and fixing geometrical compatibility and BOM structure for assigned systems and parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Vehicle Architecture, BOM/CDV, and Program Management, to ensure seamless design and development processes.
  • Develop and maintain deep understanding of automotive design environment, processes, and requirements, as well as vehicle systems and sub-systems levels.
  • Stay up-to-date with traditional assembly and joining processes for EDS and apply this knowledge to design and development.
  • Utilize proficiency in Catia/3DX/TC/TcVis to create high-quality designs and ensure accuracy and precision.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or student in Automotive, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related disciplines.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of 3D modeling programs (SolidWorks, NX, Catia, or 3DX).
  • Proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented individual with excellent networking and communication skills.
