Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our technical/process QA division, you will play a critical role in designing, installing, and evaluating quality control methods and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Management and Development teams to brainstorm new features and design test case outlines for automated testing.
- Develop and execute performance and scalability tests to ensure the quality of our software.
- Analyze customer workflows and scenarios to identify potential issues and prevent them from occurring.
- Create and monitor SDLC metrics to support the Scrum team.
- Participate in Global Working Groups to research and deploy leading-edge test and development tools.
- Perform peer code reviews to optimize test code execution and improve overall quality.
- Investigate and reproduce customer-reported problems to ensure timely resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Practical experience with Agile Scrum/Kanban team development and Jira as an Agile tool.
- Proven experience with automated tools and testing frameworks to optimize test case execution.
- Familiarity with code coverage and continuous integration.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills, preferably in Java.
- Experience writing SQL queries.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently when needed.
