About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Information Systems Analyst to join our team at Gates Corporation. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of our Human Resource Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for our Oracle HRMS, Oracle Advanced Benefits, Compensation Workbench, LMS, Time and Labor, and other accompanying software and modules.
  • Identify, initiate, test, and implement new system functionality, system modifications, and enhancements.
  • Develop and document policies and procedures to collect, record, and process employee information.
  • Participate in systems implementation, enhancements, and upgrades, including gathering business requirements, writing functional specifications, developing test plans, leading functional user testing, and assessing system readiness for deployment.
  • Maintain the Gates organizational structure and master data at Headquarters, serving as a resource and SME for plant personnel.
  • Conduct periodic audits of data to ensure accuracy.
  • Propose and/or participate in process improvements to advance and improve current HR systems processes.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues identified by the team.
  • Develop and conduct training for users on various systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Oracle HR experience preferred.
  • Critical thinker with exceptional ability to identify and resolve gaps in processes and business practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot issues and prioritize.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong follow-through skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem-solve with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees across multiple functions (IT, payroll, etc.).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with Access database skills a plus.
  • Resourcefulness to work individually, with flexibility to work as a team player.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with complete integrity.
  • Ability to respond and adapt to change.
  • Proactive and results-oriented.
  • Willingness to learn and think outside the box.
  • Excited to work in a collaborative office environment with great teammates.
