About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Compliance Coordinator to join our Downstream Operations team at LHR Global - Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and environmental compliance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Expert Guidance: Offer advice and consultation to department staff to maintain a safe working environment in compliance with environmental/safety regulations, standards, and practices.
  • Hazard Identification and Mitigation: Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace. Conduct surveys to identify and evaluate occupational health, safety, and environmental conditions. Perform on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices.
  • Develop and Implement Controls: Develop controls for identified hazards. Coordinate the implementation of controls from results of hazard analyses. Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies, and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Prepare safety orientations, safety training, and job site inspection procedures. Direct or assist in the development of specialized education and training materials. Conduct specialized safety and environmental training programs to communicate hazard control information.
  • Participate in Safety Committee Meetings: Participate in Safe Operations Committee meetings to ensure alignment with company safety requirements.
  • Review and Analyze Data: Review and analyze injury, property damage, and statistical loss data. Work with management to prepare comprehensive recommendations for corrective action to eliminate or minimize potential hazards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety engineering, industrial hygiene, or environmental science from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of related safety/operational experience and/or training, preferably in the oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge or training in occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance with applicable industry, governmental, and/or international standards. Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: Monthly base salary aligned with company employees with similar skills.
  • Overbase and Benefits Supplement: Monthly overbase of 25% of monthly base salary and benefits supplement of 20% of monthly base salary, increasing to 25% after 3 years and 30% after 6 years.
  • Severance Package: 2-week's pay for each year of service, increasing to 4-week's pay after 6 years.
  • Employment Tax: Exemption from 'home country' income taxes for employees who choose to separate themselves from their 'home country' for income tax purposes.
  • Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP): Eligible after 12 months of service, with a maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay and a 20% share discount.
  • Incentive Plan: Annual incentive plan based on performance, approximately 1.8x monthly base salary.
  • Travel Allowance: Annual travel allowance of approximately $8,200 per household member 11+ years old residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under 11 years old.
  • Vacation and Paid Holidays: 38 vacation days, 4 travel days, and 11-13 paid holidays.
  • Medical and Dental Plan: Complimentary in-Kingdom Johns Hopkins medical care/facilities for employee and eligible family members, with subsidized in-Kingdom dental services.
  • Educational Assistance Plan (EAP): Out-of-Kingdom assistance of 90% of expenses, with a maximum per child of the lesser of 5x monthly base salary or the company max ($48.5K), plus 3 round-trip economy air travel tickets. In-Kingdom assistance of 2x monthly base salary or the company max ($16.3K).
  • Settling in Allowance: One-time payment of 100% of monthly base salary for family status and 60% of monthly base salary for single/bachelor status.
