Your Role

As the Molding Unit Manager, you will oversee the Launch area, Tool room, and Engineering, devising strategies to enhance the overall Molding functional area. Your leadership will ensure optimal balance in production lines, promoting improved response times and ensuring the safety of the team.

Team Collaboration

This position plays a crucial role within the Molding and manufacturing sectors, working in collaboration with various functional areas and plants across regions to fulfill its responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

You will have the authority to halt any manufacturing process when necessary to uphold safety and quality standards. Manage systems daily to identify critical points and generate reports related to production efficiency. Conduct multiple meetings each week to review results at the start of shifts to enhance productivity. Guide the team to maintain balance across production lines while managing 4 shifts. Embrace, uphold, and communicate the company's values and philosophy to your team. Facilitate communication and coordination through Supervisors with technicians and team leaders to ensure smooth operation of automatic, semi-automatic, and manual production lines. Provide necessary tools to ensure effective communication for the next shift at operational, line leader, and engineering levels, ensuring key manufacturing information such as order priorities and performance metrics are shared. Take initiative and engage in activities focused on the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, quality, safety, and labor relations. Manage and maintain the resources, machinery, and tools essential for daily manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with specialization in Molding, plastics, or injection processes. Significant experience in a management role within manufacturing, preferably in the automotive sector. Strong understanding of scientific molding applications. Familiarity with ERPs to manage strategic points and monitor efficiency. Hands-on individual capable of implementing best practices and enhancing productivity. Proficient in English. Excellent leadership and time management abilities. Capability to nurture talent within your team.

Preferred Qualifications

Mold master certification is advantageous. An automation-oriented mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement. A dynamic personality that thrives on guiding and working with people.
