About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor Leader to join our VMO Dto Ams team at Hewlett Packard. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring operational and financial excellence for our 3rd party labor spend across Dto Ams category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Dto stakeholders and GiP to identify, manage, and govern DTO 3rd party AMS labor vendors.
  • Focus on managing tiered vendors in AMS space and establish a review cadence with strategic vendors to evaluate and improve their operational and financial performance.
  • Manage senior relationships and escalated issues with outsourced partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs.
  • Hold vendors accountable and optimize resources to free up for innovation and transformation.
  • Establish a cadence and governance with key stakeholders to provide regular updates on operations stability, continuous improvements, and financial excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Technology or Business Administration. Master's or higher degree preferred.
  • Typically 12 or more years of related work experience, including 5 years of expert-level experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution.
  • Extensive business, financials, and procurement acumen in digital and technology areas.
  • Strong skills in operational management, including budget and business planning and forecasting.
  • Key understanding of technology landscape as it relates to application landscape in high-tech companies.
  • Strong financial negotiation skills with managed services providers and understanding of AMS vendor landscape.
  • Skilled in metrics and data-driven processes to hold vendors accountable while working in collaboration mode.
  • Advanced communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Advanced relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting with senior management and executive roles for internal and external partners.
