Job Summary:
The Engineering Site Director will be responsible for strategically directing, managing, and coordinating activities in the Design Center, including the development of long-range goals and objectives. This role will ensure the effective use of resources to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Success: Develop effective customer escalation relationships to ensure customer project success, including financial, schedule, quality, and customer perceptions.
- Leadership Development: Ensure appropriate personnel development for both technical and leadership development, including site succession planning.
- Design Center Collaboration: Effectively work with all other Design Centers, including sharing of best practices, promoting work sharing to balance operational load and achieve regional strategies.
- Financial Management: Effectively manage Design Center P&L, including forecasting and planning of revenue and expenses.
- Strategic Direction: Work with Plexus Engineering leadership to determine vision and strategic direction, including appropriate support and leadership of corporate initiatives.
- Employee Development: Accountable to execute on Plexus' Best People strategy, leaders will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring that employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
- Communication: Ensure timely communication of critical information to Plexus Engineering customer management employees.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required to meet the needs of the business.
Requirements:
- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; a Master's degree of Business Administration is preferred.
- Experience: Eight years of related experience is required.
- Product Development: A minimum of Three (3) years of product development experience, with a preference for project management experiences, is required for this position.

- Leadership Skills: Must have strong leadership and influencing skills to impact the direction of the Design Center.
- Team Building Skills: Possess strong team building skills.
- Management Skills: Possess good management skills and knowledge of management principles.
- Organizational Skills: Possess good organizational, presentation, and leadership skills.
