This involves leading a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) in daily management of the delivery station, including meetings, training sessions, assigning job duties, and communicating with DSPs.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Quality: Ensure a safe working environment for over 280+ associates, with a focus on reducing accidents and injuries.
- Operational Excellence: Establish workflows, SLAs, and operational excellence mechanisms at the site to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Customer Experience: Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, with a focus on delivery times, product quality, and overall experience.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of leaders, including Process Assistants and DSPs, to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Change Management: Coordinate with support functions to implement new processes and improvements, including benchmarking process standards.
- Operational Planning: Develop and implement weekly operational plans, including manager's roster, labor model, volume delivery, IT and non-IT 4M, preventive maintenance, and breakdown review.
- Associate Engagement: Connect with associates daily to address barriers and provide support to ensure their success.
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Senior Operations Manager, Logistics and Delivery, with a strong background in Last Mile operations and a proven track record of driving operational excellence. You will have a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools and experience leading programs or projects end-to-end. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
