Senior Azure Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Security Architect to join our team at Kwan Technology Inc. As a key member of our Cyber Security team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and operating cloud security with a focus on Azure.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement security controls and threat protection in Azure
- Analyze and create a solid identity and access management structure
- Define security policies using Azure technologies
- Collaborate with product owners and cloud architects to build a secure and robust enterprise-grade cloud platform
- Design security services in cloud-based programs based on pre-defined architecture frameworks
- Maintain and improve the security posture of Azure platform
- Oversee the process of identifying and remediating vulnerabilities
- Define security controls and policies, access to data, and monitor alerts to ensure data, apps, containers, infrastructure, and networks are protected
- Design access configurations within a cloud solution environment using the defense-in-depth principle
- Design network security including in a hybrid context with traditional network centric controls
- Implement and use cloud native tools like Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel
- Masters in computer science/Engineer or minimum 5-10 years hand-on experience in IT and/or Security with a preference of experience in Azure environments
- Proficient in all aspects of cloud Security including identity and access management, organizational structure and policies, technologies to provide data protection, network security defenses, security logs, and incident response processes
- Good understanding of security concepts (Zero Trust Network, CASB, Cloud computing, SIEM, SOAR, PKI, DevSecOps, IAM, and PAM)
- Strong technical programming skills with Linux and Windows operating systems and scripting languages like Python, Javascript, Powershell, Python, Terraform, Shell scripts, etc.
- Certifications: Azure Security Engineer certifications: AZ-500, SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, etc...CompTIA Security+, or SANS certification are preferred. Also industry certifications are considered as beneficial e.g., CISSP, CSSP, CCSK, GIAC, CEH
