About the Role

We are in search of a dedicated Jira Administrator who will play a crucial role in managing some of the most significant enterprise-wide tools at Zillow Group. The ideal candidate will be a diligent and proactive administrator focusing specifically on Jira.

The selected individual will oversee JIRA administration, encompassing all responsibilities outlined in the qualifications section. This includes engaging with stakeholders to ascertain JIRA project requirements and implementing them effectively. Timely delivery based on best practices and official documentation for modifications is essential, along with providing application support to the broader organization.

This role is categorized as a remote position, allowing employees to work from a location of their choice within Mexico, with a preference for Mexico City to facilitate occasional in-office gatherings.

In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, this position is eligible for equity awards based on various factors such as experience, performance, and location.


Who You Are
  • Proficient in the Jira cloud environment with expertise in configuring both team-managed and company-managed projects.
  • Extensive knowledge in global permissions management.
  • Highly experienced in utilizing automations for customized Jira modifications.
  • Skilled in the creation, management, and troubleshooting of schemes, roles, boards, workflows, issues, and filters.
  • Familiar with scrum and kanban methodologies to align projects accordingly.
  • Experienced in user provisioning, including access management and reporting.
  • Strong reporting capabilities using out-of-the-box tools and specific plugins.
  • Solid skills in JQL for reporting and bulk modifications.
  • Competent in plugin installation and configuration.
  • Experience with the Atlassian administration interface for site and product management.
  • Desirable experience in scripting, such as ScriptRunner or other scripting languages, along with API knowledge.
