The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior User Interface Designer to drive the next stage of our digital platform's design. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for crafting a seamless and intuitive user experience that meets the needs of our students, parents, teachers, and staff.

Our digital platform is a critical component of our educational experience, and we are looking for a designer who can help us establish a strong visual identity and design language. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to design and develop a robust design system that will guide the development of our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with our UX designers to create pixel-perfect designs that are intuitive, delightful, and ready to be implemented.
  2. Lead visual design thinking, UI mockups, storyboards, and share deliverables with stakeholders.
  3. Design, contribute, and maintain our Sora design system.
  4. Communicate cross-functionally and advocate for the users at all organizational levels.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of professional experience in User Interface Design, Production Design, or related fields as an individual contributor in an agency and/or in-house creative environment.
  2. An online portfolio demonstrating your strong visual design craft through web and mobile projects.
  3. Experience designing for consumer-facing web and mobile products with a focus on visual design language, design systems, illustrations, typography, etc.
  4. Mastery of design tools like Figma, Sketch, Invision, and Adobe Suite.
  5. Strong written and verbal skills in English.
