As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will leverage your extensive knowledge across various technology layers, focusing on the development and management of innovative business solutions utilizing Oracle technologies. Your role will encompass overseeing the operations and infrastructure necessary to ensure optimal service levels, including availability and performance, which ultimately leads to enhanced customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Establish the strategic technology direction for critical investment areas, fostering internal expertise and knowledge sharing within the Support organization.
  • Tackle and guide the resolution of complex technical challenges across multiple product domains, while providing mentorship to senior technical advisors on their projects.
  • Present Oracle's solutions and architectural frameworks to clients and stakeholders, showcasing the value of our cloud offerings and emerging technologies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Managed Cloud Services standards on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), delivering definitions of standards and best practices to customers.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding standards documentation and assist in designing architectures that align with Oracle's PaaS and IaaS services.
  • Conduct sizing and capacity analysis to guide architecture component selection.
  • Collaborate on architecture design, detailing the deployment of components to support Oracle Managed Cloud PaaS Services.
  • Review and validate architectural designs to ensure compliance with Oracle standards.
  • Act as the technical authority for OCI-related issues, conducting in-depth analyses to resolve specific design challenges.
  • Provide insights on potential and emerging technologies to foster innovation.
  • Recommend additional services to enhance OCI architecture, streamlining application development and deployment.
  • Work with customers to review planned updates, defining the deployment phases of OCI and associated tasks.
  • Help customers understand the technical and financial implications of changes, including any necessary contractual adjustments.
  • Create documentation and artifacts that elucidate architectural design concepts and solutions for various management levels and stakeholders.
  • Assist customers with OCI integration architecture aspects, ensuring alignment with their use cases.
