**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Methods Configuration Specialist to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective configuration of our production lines.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Implement and coordinate production line configuration changes, ensuring robust tracking of change management process activities.
- Develop and coordinate modifications to manufacturing sequence plans and precedence diagrams based on engineering documentation.
- Provide technical support for configuration changes and manufacturing processes.
- Define and incorporate standard times in work instructions to ensure proper product costing.
- Document and promote modifications, standard practices, and lessons learned to ensure product integrity in accordance with design requirements.
- Analyze, plan, and implement engineering requirements for test aircraft, option configurations, and spares required by the program.
- Design methodologies for assurance of design requirements in product planning.
- Deliver required documentation (SAE AS9102) for PRE-FAI and FAI according to the established process.
- Define the delivery condition (COS) of materials to guarantee flexibility in manufacturing.
**Requirements**
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing/configuration methods engineering or automotive product engineering.
- Background in aeronautical, electromechanical, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or related fields.
- Experience with BMS, Bombardier manuals, BES, QMS, SMS, Siemens Teamcenter, and internal/industry regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of Catia V5, SAP, Mentor Graphics, DITMCO, Publisher, advanced Excel, and Office 365.
