We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Design Engineer to join our Aeronautics team at CEiiA // Centre of Engineering and Product Development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative aircraft systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering, with experience in designing and developing composite materials and structures. You will be working closely with our cross-functional team to bring new products to market, collaborating with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design and develop 3D CAD models for aircraft components, taking into account manufacturing constraints and product requirements.
- Material Selection and Evaluation: Evaluate inputs to select the most suitable materials, treatments, and production techniques for each application.
- Product Configuration and Quality: Adhere to product configuration rules and ensure compliance with quality processes.
- Project Management and Collaboration: Provide the manager with requested information for project planning, execution, and control, including work estimates, projections, and potential problems.
- Testing and Certification: Develop CAD models in support of testing and certification activities, contributing to the creation of project reports and certification documentation.
- A Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in the development of components and products, with a strong background in CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx, Solidworks), MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), or similar tools.
- Good knowledge of structural sizing analyses' techniques and concepts, as well as materials and production techniques.
- Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, with analytical and critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
