Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled Materials Planner to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials to meet customer demand, inventory levels, and resource availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and resource availability.
  • Daily monitor schedule compliance and communicate priorities to production, quality, and inventory teams.
  • Prepare and report data and information, analyzing routine problems and resolving or providing information for resolution.
  • Maintain detailed records and logs, attending meetings to plan and follow customer projects.
  • Work directly with production and supply chain teams to plan schedules and change overs, monitoring supplies, finish goods, and WIP inventories.
  • Communicate production status updates to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering degree or similar.
  • 2-5 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Analytical/data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead, build consensus, and work within a team environment.
  • Result-oriented and promote customer satisfaction.
  • SAP knowledge.
  • Experience in Metal mechanic Industry or Make to order products (desirable).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
