About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to join our team at Plexus.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our team members, resolving issues in a timely manner, and driving root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support and incident management for application-related issues
  • Monitor incidents for trends and proactively recommend improvements
  • Owning the lifecycle management of applications, including patching, security updates, and functional testing
  • Collaborating with third-party software vendors to manage relationships and ensure SLA compliance
  • Documenting system requirements and specifications
  • Managing and delivering moderate to high-complexity projects, applying advanced problem-solving skills

Additional Accountabilities:

  • Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements, such as SOX, ITAR, EAR, FDA, and others
  • Stay current on Plexus business, industry, and IT technology trends to provide forward-looking solutions
  • Foster continuous improvement within the team and processes, developing and discussing enhancements
  • Participate in and lead Functional User Groups to share knowledge and best practices across sites/regions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2-5 years of related experience in computing systems or IT support
  • Action-oriented, leadership skills, and ability to escalate issues appropriately
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and planning skills

Work Environment:

The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
