Job Summary:

The Senior Performance Testing Manager will be responsible for leading the performance testing team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality testing services to Citigroup Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the performance testing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality testing services.
  • Develop and implement performance testing strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with development teams, IT project managers, and business partners to ensure the successful delivery of testing services.
  • Manage multiple testing teams or a testing functional area.
  • Develop and maintain testing standards and ensure compliance.
  • Exhibit in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.
  • Requires in-depth understanding of how IT testing integrates within overall technology and has commercial awareness.
  • Evaluate subordinates' performance and make decisions on pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.
  • Use evaluative judgment in complicated or novel situations; use multiple sources of information.
  • Impact IT testing through planning, finances budget, end results, and setting policies.
  • Requires developed communication skills to negotiate with others at a senior level; may communicate with external parties.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience within a testing environment.
  • Senior to advanced level experience in an IT Testing role with commensurate experience in people management.
  • In-depth understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle processes.
  • Thorough understanding of end-to-end testing processes, Quality Center, and other testing-related tools.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent persuasive, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • High analytical skills.
  • Proven team player skills with a track record of a leadership role delivering to tight deadlines and with high quality.
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Senior Manager, Subdirector, or Director of Performance Testing.
  • Responsible for the performance testing practice.
  • Direction and strategy to the team. New practices.
  • Performance of applications, systems.
  • Configure long-term vision.
  • Establish growth plans in TECH for 2-5 years.
  • Strategic vision and direction to the team.
