**Database Systems Engineer**

At UST, we're seeking a skilled Database Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our database infrastructure team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the highest levels of quality for our Production SaaS solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve elevated technical issues, creating SQL queries to research causes and build infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, DBAs, and Developers to deliver roadmaps and execute Root Cause Analysis on issues.
  • Utilize Forensic troubleshooting tools and techniques to drive detailed understanding of issues and create solutions repository for reuse.
  • Monitor SaaS Application Health and End User Experience using Dynatrace and SentryOne.
  • Possess strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills, supporting and triaging technical issues and performing Incident and service request ticket analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or 5+ years of MS SQL database administration experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS SQL, including replication, AOAG, and MS clustering.
  • Advanced performance troubleshooting skills and experience working in DevOps tools like Terraform, Ansible, Git, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
