Job Summary
As a Lead Wind Technician with GE Renewable Energy, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the maintenance and repair of wind turbines. This role requires strong technical knowledge and leadership skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information to customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technicians in the maintenance and repair of wind turbines, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance of wind turbines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance and repair.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with wind turbine design and development.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
