**Job Summary**

Legrand Av is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Development Manager to lead the development of new products for our network and AVoIP product lines. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for managing the progression of key projects from initial research to launch, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality results.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Plan and manage the progression of key projects through initial kick-off research, development, and launch process ensuring timeliness, cost, and quality.
  • Provide expert project management knowledge and support to project teams and facilitate overcoming obstacles to achieve successful development and introduction of assigned projects.
  • Work with global cross-functional teams with a diverse range of functional areas including Sales and Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Suppliers, and Operations.
  • Coordinate the analysis of scope changes to schedule & budget and ensure implementation with consistent design integrity.
  • Effectively communicate to direct supervisor, corporate management, and suppliers on project status.
  • Effectively manage, develop, and motivate cross-functional team members.
  • Provide effective, constructive, and appropriate feedback and leadership to project team members to foster a positive team atmosphere.
  • Initiate and assist with the creation, development, and implementation of processes and procedures.
  • Consistently support compliance by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in Safety Programs, initiatives, and investigations.

  • Perform other duties deemed necessary to support the Company's business operations.

**Requirements**

  • Excellent collaborative interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively across the organization and within a team of diverse skill sets.
  • Proven ability to lead new product development projects with selected strategy suppliers.
  • Exceptional project management and planning skills, while providing high attention to details.
  • Previous experience as hardware or software engineer, preferably in either the network or AVoIP market.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing process and procedure.
  • Experience in design, verification, and validation of hardware.
