About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Analyst to join our team at Kohler. As an Accounting Analyst, you will play a critical role in controlling fixed assets, processing treasury transactions, and participating in the budgeting process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tag and control fixed assets at KTMX
  • Calculate and prepare monthly worked hours reports
  • Process requisitions of direct checks received from KTMX departments
  • Ensure proper authorizations in requisitions of direct checks and issue purchase orders when applicable
  • Issue direct checks, obtain signatures, and give them in custody to the Controller
  • Book treasury transactions and submit them to the Controller for approval
  • Input accounting vouchers into the General Ledger System
  • Calculate book provisions for treasury activities, such as interest and commissions
  • Ensure proper documentation of transactions is attached to payment checks or vouchers
  • Attend and resolve differences between vendors' and Kohler's records to support A/P functions
  • Elaborate bank reconciliations and submit them to the Controller for review and approval
  • Calculate intercompany account reconciliations
  • Obtain copies of documentation support for all charges to intercompany accounts
  • Prepare monthly Capital Spending Projection reports with the Maintenance Manager
  • Prepare documentation support for Value Added Tax Returns
  • Participate in monthly and annual physical inventories
  • Prepare information requested by auditors
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Controller
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2 years' experience in a similar position
  • Bilingual (SAP and costing experience preferred)
  • Critical skills: Cautiousness, Thoroughness, External Structure, Self-Structure, Abstract Reasoning Ability, Aggressiveness, Assertiveness, Energy, and Idea Orientation
  • Supporting skills: Ego-drive, Urgency
