Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Services Manager to join our team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in developing, implementing, and supporting cutting-edge Oracle technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of engineers maintaining and implementing internal corporate network systems supporting 150,000 employees.
  • Define, document, and manage scope, expectations, implementation approach, deliverables, and system performance criteria.
  • Lead a specialized area of Corporate Networking responsible for maintenance and compliance of remote access and associated network security systems.
  • Interact with senior management and/or functional peer group managers to manage team priorities and output.
  • Develop and improve processes to manage the pipeline of changes, driving quality and on-time delivery of compliance requirements.
  • Represent the service team at Operational meetings, reporting status and solutions to organization leaders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience relevant to networking/network security.
  • Two+ years of people management experience.
  • Four+ years of experience solving IT infrastructure problems as manager or individual contributor.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure monitoring and implementation tools, such as SNMP and scripted automation.
  • Familiarity with global service management and compliance standards, including ITIL and FedRAMP.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, navigating languages, time zones, and cultures.
