About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement to drive cost savings and optimize supplier performance. You will establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, lead RFQ processes, negotiate pricing and contracts, and identify potential risks within the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for indirect categories, including facilities and manufacturing, to drive cost savings and optimize supplier performance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and contractual obligations.
- Lead RFQ processes, negotiate pricing and contracts, and finalize agreements that meet the company's business goals.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, implementing strategies to ensure continuity of supply.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders within the organization to understand their indirect procurement needs and objectives, providing strategic guidance and support.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, with a focus on indirect categories.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Self-sufficiency, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and time zones.
- A strategic thinker, capable of developing and executing long-term sourcing strategies.
$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
