Molex is seeking a dynamic and proactive Sales Development Manager to drive profitable growth within a defined set of automotive accounts and tiers.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong relationships at all organizational levels within the customer base, understanding their processes, business drivers, and organizational models.
- Manage and maintain individual pipeline, identifying new opportunities for growth and exceeding annual sales goals.
- Responsible for complex RFQs and pricing negotiations, resolving conflicts and providing solutions to customers in a timely manner.
- Develop new and innovative ideas to enhance the customer's experience, capturing technical and commercial customer requirements in collaboration with Business Development Managers and multiple Business Units.
- Work with lead generation and marketing teams to understand and nurture leads through multiple digital and social media channels.
- Continuously learn product functions and purpose to confidently support customer needs, setting and managing internal/external partner expectations.
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of successful and relevant sales/account management experience within the automotive industry
- Experience in customer service and/or technical support
- Previous experience with quotation processes and understanding of the market pace
- Prior experience with Automotive Tiers
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Experience using SAP and Salesforce
- Strong commercial business understanding and entrepreneurship skills
- Engineering background and/or sales experience
- Project management skills demonstrating the ability to set goals and priorities to complete projects in a systematic and timely manner
- Ability to prioritize and operate independently and effectively
