Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Ingredion Global Business Services, S.A. De C.V. in SSC Guadalajara, Mexico. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing records related to account payables, verifying invoices, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify account payable records, including domestic and imported purchases, freights, customs expenses, and T&E expenses.
- Verify authorizations and tax requirements for invoices.
- Process payments to suppliers in accordance with internal calendars and procedures.
- Utilize various payment methods, including disbursements, checks, and factoring.
- Respond to vendor and internal customer inquiries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in accounting closing and special projects as required by the AP Leader.
- Support the AP Leader with audit requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Portuguese written and verbal communication skills (desirable).
- 1 year of experience in general accounting or accounts payable.
- Proficiency in the use of Office and ERP systems (SAP desirable).
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage time, details, and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new skills.
