About the Role

This position reports to the Project Operations Manager and is part of the Electrification Distribution Solutions team in Mexico. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the execution of medium-size and complex projects, ensuring that all related activities are performed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the project team, establish the project execution approach, and oversee project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring, and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
  • Provide leadership and active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification.
  • Support local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders.
  • Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, Electro-mechanic, or Electronic Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in Project Management and execution in the Electro-mechanical industry.
  • Knowledge of PMI/PMBOK.
  • Knowledge of Electric systems.
  • Advanced English.
  • Project Execution with Mexican government entities (PEMEX, CFE, CONAGUA, SEDENA).
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Experience working with Big EPCs (ICA, TECHINT, KEWIT, others) preferred.
