At Adi Global Distribution, we are seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst I to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in facilitating a high level of cash flow and minimizing levels of overdue and bad debt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform collections of past-due invoices, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective action with customers and internal partners to ensure timely payments.
- Influence customer payment behaviors by actively reaching out to customers to ensure payments are a priority within their payables, resulting in a direct impact on the company's cash flow.
- Organize and analyze all internal and external customer accounts, identifying collection issues and implementing solutions.
- Assist with monthly forecast reporting and collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer service, or a finance-related role.
- Prior experience with advanced usage of the English and French languages, including written and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to manipulate and update Microsoft Excel documents to track customer invoicing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior knowledge or experience within accounting.
- Ability to actively solve problems with a focus on driving results.
- Experience providing excellent customer service.
- Hands-on experience navigating a computer, with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret customer data.
