We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our team at Ingredion Incorporated.

As a Supply Chain Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for executing transactional procurement responsibilities in support of US segments. You will also execute tasks to monitor, report, and comply with core procurement policies as well as master data updates requested by US segments in accordance with established KPI/SLA. Additionally, you will partner with Buyers supporting other US plants and Mexico plants to share best practices, pool resources, and identify opportunities to enhance process, optimize spend, or reduce risk.

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $55,000-$65,000 based on national averages and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Purchase Orders for Non-MRP generated and services Purchase Requisitions.
  • Work to meet established KPI targets.
  • Conduct field communications with suppliers for designated Purchase Orders to follow up for timely deliveries.
  • Maintain supplier contact information updated in systems and establish contact with VM to update vendor information when needed.
  • Ensure key purchasing policies are adhered to.
  • Liaise with Procurement Operations to resolve issues, risks, and dependencies related to Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Vendor Communications, and/or Vendor Invoices.
  • Work with AP to resolve issues related to invoices discrepancies.
  • Liaise with other buyers to share best practices, identify process opportunities, and share resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related discipline.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • 1-2 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • SAP and SAP Ariba is a plus.

English: Must have expert proficiency in English.
Spanish: Must have expert proficiency in Spanish.
