Job Summary:

The Paint Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with paint quality measurables, maintaining a 95% quality rate, and minimizing rework and scrap. This role requires strong experience in painting, knowledge of handling and flow of painted materials, and experience as a leader.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with paint quality measurables and maintain a 95% quality rate.
  • Minimize rework and scrap by identifying and addressing root causes.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth paint application and handling processes.
  • Monitor and analyze paint application data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce paint costs and improve profitability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality paint materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Intermediate English skills.
  • Strong experience in painting and knowledge of handling and flow of painted materials.
  • Experience as a leader and team manager.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP skills.
  • 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, heavy equipment, or aerial work with construction platforms.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, production, quality, laboratory, and handling of painted materials.
  • Paint warehouse management experience.
  • Labor conflict resolution experience for administrative and unionized personnel.
  • Knowledge of GES 1140.
