We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Lead to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our global procurement team, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our purchasing process across multiple plants, inventory management, and materials systems development to maximize process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing processes and identify areas for improvement, ensuring standard work is completed and published in an updated version.
- Collaborate on supply chain procedures, including inventory management, process automation, and JCMS integration.
- Consolidate and analyze supply chain KPIs.
- Implement and document supply chain processes.
- Participate in supply chain disruptions, define root cause, and develop measures for short- and long-term solutions.
- Recommend and create software to improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Participate in risk assessments.
- Participate in training programs.
- Identify and correct unsafe acts and recognize safe behavior.
- Identify and report potential environmental impacts.
- Analyze and prevent the consequences of all actions before any activity.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain management or a related field.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, IT/demand pull manufacturing methods, ERP systems, MRP, and replenish inventory control systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Materials Control, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Availability to travel.
