We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist in International Freight Operations to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient clearance of international shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare customs forms and documentation to enable timely and effective import, export, and transshipment procedures.
- Coordinate with customs officials and internal operations employees to ensure compliance with country customs and tax laws.
- Communicate with customers to provide information on duties and taxes to be paid.
- Maintain accurate and organized customs documentation.
- Perform sorting, baggage support, and retrieve air freight as required.
Requirements:
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Proficient in English (TOEIC 600 points).
- Four (4) years of experience in international freight/cargo customs policies, procedures, rules, and laws.
- Demonstrated experience in airport and customs clearance procedures.
- Driver's license.
Preferred Skills:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- General office skills.
- Computer literate.
- CRT experience preferred.
