We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Coordinator to coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse, including receiving of finished goods from manufacturing and outside vendors, and coordinate the picking, skidding and labeling of customer orders in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Outgoing Freight: Determine conformance to loading patterns to prevent shifting or damage to material or product during transit. Audit to ensure conformance with labeling requirements and accuracy of order shipment.
- Audit and Compliance: Audit to ensure compliance with special customer requests including special instructions, such as routing, packing and labeling.
- Process Improvement: Recommend measures to improve shipping and receiving methods, equipment performance and quality of process. Suggest changes in working conditions and/or use of equipment to increase efficiency of the team.
- Warehouse Audit Metrics: Post Warehouse daily audit metrics along with corrective actions to avoid repetitive issues.
- Time Allocation: Expected to spend a minimum of 70% of working time engaged in coordinating and auditing, 30% in picking and labeling.
High School diploma or GED required and/or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of two years experience in a warehousing, stockroom or closely related role required.
Must have proven skill with warehousing, inventory and shipping/receiving.
Proven communication and organizational skills.
Must be computer literate. Experience with data entry required. Other computer skills are a plus.
