Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Associate Director, Electronics to join our team at Carrier Global Corporation. As a key member of our Global Strategic Sourcing team, you will be responsible for leading our Contract Manufacturing category strategy and ensuring operational excellence and efficiencies are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a category strategy that optimizes affordability, availability, agility, and innovation in the Contract Manufacturing category.
  • Manage global category spend and build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at best cost.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and product management, to align on long-term strategy and technology roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of global supply markets, competitors, and product innovations in the Contract Manufacturing category.
  • Build and lead a team of Contract Manufacturing experts to drive global performance and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain, engineering, finance, or business.
  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement, with a focus on Contract Manufacturing.
  • Strategic sourcing experience and knowledge of lean tools and digital dexterity.
  • Strong business acumen and experience collaborating across various levels within a diverse, global organization.
  • Proven track record of successful leadership, negotiation, and strategic communication.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or professional certifications, such as CPM, CPSM, CIRM, or CPIM.
  • Experience with supply chain strategy development and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of Contract Manufacturing category-specific experience and industry trends.
