Position Summary

We are in search of a proficient Jira Administrator who can assist in managing some of the most influential enterprise tools at Zillow Group. This position requires a diligent and proactive individual who will focus primarily on Jira.

The ideal candidate will oversee JIRA administration, addressing all aspects outlined in the qualifications section, and engage with stakeholders to ascertain JIRA project requirements and implement them effectively. Timely delivery and adherence to best practices and official documentation for modifications are essential, along with providing application support to the broader organization.

This position is categorized as a remote role, allowing employees to work from a location of their choice, with a preference for those residing in Mexico City to facilitate occasional in-office gatherings.

Alongside a competitive salary and benefits package, this role is also eligible for equity awards based on various factors, including experience and performance.

Candidate Profile
  • In-depth knowledge of the Jira cloud environment and its proper configuration for both team-managed and company-managed projects.
  • Extensive expertise in global permissions management.
  • Proficient in utilizing automations for customized Jira modifications.
  • Skilled in creating, managing, and resolving issues related to schemes, roles, boards, workflows, issues, and filters.
  • Familiar with scrum and kanban methodologies to align projects accordingly.
  • Experience in user provisioning, including access management and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills for reporting using out-of-the-box tools and specific plugins.
  • Solid command of JQL for reporting and bulk modifications.
  • Experience in plugin installation and configuration.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian administration interface for site and product management.
  • Desirable experience in scripting, such as ScriptRunner or other scripting languages, along with API knowledge.
