This position reports to the Controlling & Planning Team Lead.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data. Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes.
The work model for the role is contributing to the Process automation Finance Function in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities- Support the analysis of business performance versus plan and propose improvement actions.
- Perform benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar businesses within ABB.
- Work with the management team to understand and analyze drivers of financial performance and identify market trends.
- Prepare financial modeling for various hypotheses and analyze the impact to the organization and validate the accuracy of financial data and business information and report through reconciliation and review of exceptions.

Qualifications for the Role- You have 2 years of experience in financial statement analysis (balance sheet, P&L) and in cost center and expense analysis.
- Ability to demonstrate your knowledge and solid foundations in accounting.
- You are at ease communicating in English at an advanced level.
- Highly adept in Excel is a must. Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related.
- A previous experience in a transnational company and/or Big Four company is a plus.
- Problem solving mindset, good communication skills, prioritizing task ability.
- Valid American visa and passport is desirable.
