Job Summary

The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Cofix Mexico, overseeing the day-to-day operations of both company-owned and franchised stores. This includes opening new stores, developing product mix strategies, and building high-performing store-level teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full scope of operations for a rapidly growing coffee concept in Mexico, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Build and develop a high-performing store-level team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Develop strategic operations plans, drive project deliverables, and establish comprehensive performance objectives.
  • Ensure effective action planning, root cause analysis, and scheduled follow-ups to drive accountability and growth.
  • Participate in lease negotiations to ensure Cofix achieves its strategic and operational objectives.
  • Coordinate new store openings, remodels, and other operational initiatives.
  • Lead and drive product mix strategy, analyzing market trends, and optimizing product profitability, selection, display, and assortment.
  • Monitor sales and margins, adhere to local and global requirements, and continuously research the market to stay ahead of consumer trends.
  • Support new store openings, remodels, and other operational initiatives, working closely with other departments to coordinate retail pricing and product promotions.
  • Lead and explore new opportunities within the food and beverage category to drive momentum and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a business-related field, preferably with a focus on operations or management.
  • 5+ years of experience in the retail food industry, with a minimum of 2 years in an operational capacity at a retail coffee store or café.
  • Proven experience in driving product mix strategy, with a strong understanding of the food and beverage supply chain and market conditions.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with a proven track record of driving results and developing high-performing teams.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders.
