Job Title: Director of Operations for Mexico

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our operations in Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills to join our global leadership team and drive growth, operational efficiency, and profitability in the region.

This role requires a hands-on approach with a proactive and results-oriented mindset. You will own your P&L, manage all business activities, including hiring and on-boarding teams, marketing units, and building strong relationships with the local real estate industry. Your ability to execute initiatives that drive growth, operational efficiency, and profitability will be essential in taking our Mexico office to the next phase of scaling up.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning the P&L for Blueground's Mexico business and driving revenue growth.
  • Scaling a best-in-class team for real estate and operations.
  • Defining city priorities and goals, managing performance on a monthly and quarterly basis by setting relevant KPIs and incentive structures.
  • Identifying unexplored opportunities and adapting the business model to local requirements, taking into account potential regulatory constraints.
  • Staying actively educated on Mexico real estate trends to adapt and refine leasing strategy.
  • Shaping and sharing best practices with the rest of the network towards constant efficiency improvement of our global operations.
  • Being the face of Blueground in Mexico, representing the company at local PR and networking events.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in a managerial role (general management or operations) with excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • A hands-on approach with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Extensive knowledge of P&L management, including budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A background in real estate with demonstrated success in originating, negotiating, executing, and managing real estate deals would be beneficial.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
