Job Summary

Emerson is seeking a highly skilled Export Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an Export Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of export operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage export operations, including the preparation and submission of export documents, such as invoices, bills of lading, and customs forms.
  • Work closely with customs brokers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and track shipments, including tracking numbers and transit times, to ensure that goods are delivered on time.
  • Verify export documents against regulatory requirements and ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Integrate export files with other documentation, such as invoices and air waybills, and physically file and scan digital copies.
  • Generate invoices in the TRAX system and prepare air waybills, pick up loads in SCO, and deliver documentation to carriers.
  • Review and maintain accurate records of all export operations, including pediments and M files, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver complete physical and digital files to the Annex 24 inventory control system on a timely basis.
  • Ensure that all export operations are conducted in accordance with Emerson's quality system, C-TPAT, and Health and Safety norms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade or Logistics.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customs agency or foreign trade areas, or 1 year of experience in Emerson.
  • English proficiency of 80% or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
