Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our team at British American Tobacco. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our business objectives by analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, developing data analytics processes, and creating interactive dashboards to provide timely and insightful data visualizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and supervise the Digital team with all projects in LANCAR, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data-driven insights.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to extract valuable business insights, identifying trends and patterns that inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain data analytics processes to support business objectives, including data cleaning and validation procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Build and present reports and visualizations to communicate findings optimally, using tools such as Power BI to create interactive dashboards.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable recommendations, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Implement data cleaning and validation procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability, applying statistical techniques and tools to identify trends and patterns in data.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data analytics, conducting exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden patterns and correlations.
  • Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies for improved decision-making, supporting the creation and presentation of relevant information related to the Digital Commerce Team's projects.
  • Attend weekly meetings and follow up on open items, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data-driven insights.
  • Daily update of our Dashboards, creating and maintaining Power BI Dashboards that provide timely and insightful data visualizations.

Requirements

  • Advanced English level.
  • Student of Marketing, Data Science, or IT.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Microsoft).
  • Power BI skills.
  • Teamwork and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make analytical decisions and solve problems creatively.
  • SQL skills (desirable).
