Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Security DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in automating and administering Hyperscaler security solutions. You will work closely with our team to identify configuration gaps and provide actionable steps to remediate them.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate and build security tooling and policies
- Follow and push integrations and cloud functions / GitOps approach on GCP
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders through demos, presentations, and documentation
- Pair with engineers from various delivery teams to support multiple environments and improve code infrastructure, continuous testing, and security
Requirements
- Skilled in using one or more programming languages (e.g., Python) and experience in Linux
- Experience setting up and administering serverless event-driven environments (e.g., GCP Cloud Functions, AWS Lambdas, Azure Functions) with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Experience working on a public Hyperscaler (IBM Cloud, GCP, Azure, AWS, or Alicloud)
- Apply software engineering practices like GitOps CI/CD, TDD, and GitHub workflow to infrastructure
- Understand concepts of High Availability, Scalability, Security, and Disaster Recovery
- Strong desire to change manual processes into automation
- Enjoy administering security tools and helping lines of business leverage security tool insight and intelligence to harden their cloud landscapes
- Strong team player with a drive to work collaboratively and independently
Desired Qualifications
- Background or strong interest in Cloud security
- Some cloud or security certifications
