Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for delivering a range of tasks to a high quality standard and assisting on a wide range of projects of all sizes and dimensions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
- Take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
- Prepare project status reports, process purchase orders, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
- Manage project correspondence (Meetings, Reports, Memos, Emails, etc.) to facilitate, maintain and track.
- Prepare reports and filter data from field.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electromechanic Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in a Document Control role. Ideally your experience will be in Industrial Projects.
- General understanding of the procurement process and contract types for appointing a General Contractor, Engineer and Architect.
- Experience managing and inputting information into a shared database.
- Experience establishing purchase orders, budget variations, and payments to vendors.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular a strong understanding of PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to problem solve and manage client expectations.
- Polished individual who demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Passion and enthusiasm for working in a collaborative high paced environment.
- Commercial awareness – ability to recognize business opportunities based on Turner & Townsends wider scopes of service delivery.
- Information technology capability - Adequately proficient on the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel), SharePoint and Oracle experience is desirable. Training will be provided for client software packages.
- Ability to develop and cultivate business relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Tech savvy and interested in technology, softwares, programming.
- Experienced in the following software packages: (Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- English level: Minimum advanced
- Spanish level: Minimum advanced
