Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Digital Supply Chain Transformation Specialist to join our team at CEMEX. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of digital supply chain capabilities across regions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define the roadmap and budget for supply chain development, ensuring alignment with company objectives and strategic goals.
  • Coordinate with product owners and stakeholders to maintain development according to company requirements and digitalization objectives.
  • Develop and refine a well-defined backlog for CEMEX Global requirements to reduce development effort and simplify certification processes.
  • Maintain a vision of the process journey and supply chain products lifecycle to define evolution, innovation, and business cases.

Decision Making

  • Lead a Supply Chain Product Management team to maintain development vision, backlog documentation, and define evolution for supply chain capabilities.
  • Review the feedback strategy for CEMEX's Supply Chain process, including global and regional objectives.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Development organization to ensure requirements definitions and development prioritization.
  • Support monthly reporting and presentations detailing progress highlights.

Position Challenges

  • Balance and prioritize roadmap efforts according to company targets, obsolescence projects, and technical debt.
  • Improve Supply Chain maturity through the adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Engage business stakeholders to adopt new improvements or capabilities.
  • Monitor business cases to ensure return on investment.

Requirements

  • Advanced English and Spanish language skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering, or related fields in Logistics & Supply Chain. Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of practical experience in Logistics & Supply Chain and Product Management.
  • 2 years of general knowledge of Agile Methodology, Sprint Planning, and Scrum Team resources management.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in managing work teams.
  • Deep understanding of Order Fulfillment processes.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Jira Project Management Software, Agile Certification, Data analytics, and SCOR are desirable.
  • Soft Skills: People management, communication of ideas effectively in both oral and written form, ability to work effectively with others, workshops design.

Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
