Renewable Energy Project Manager

Edp Renewables North America seeks an experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to join its team in Mexico City. This is a challenging role that requires strong organizational and multitasking skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressively responsible project management experience in the energy industry, with a focus on renewable energy projects. They should be proficient in Microsoft Office software and have a valid driver's license. Bilingualism in English and Spanish is also required.

The successful candidate will manage the identification of prospective utility-scale renewable energy projects, oversee local, state, federal, and regional permitting processes, and support the preparation of proposals for submission to utilities and other power purchasers. They will also establish and manage relationships with stakeholders, including elected officials, regulators, utilities, RTOs, and community leaders.

In addition, the Renewable Energy Project Manager will participate in policy outreach efforts to government officials, monitor generation interconnection studies, and manage project level expenditures and invoice processing. They will also develop project budgets, participate in interconnection agreement negotiations, and work closely with internal resources such as Legal, Environmental, Engineering, Construction, Finance, Investment Analysis, and Energy Assessment teams.

This is an individual contributor role with up to 65% travel required. The salary for this position is estimated at $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional looking for a challenging opportunity, please apply.
